Due to recent price increases in fabric (and just about everything else it seems) coupled with the weakening pound I have had to make some increases in prices... I've delayed this for as long as possible, in fact Stuffie nappies have been the same price since I started out in 2004! I'm sure you understand. In stock Stuffie nappies are still the original price for now.
A little about Stuffie nappy history....
Stuffie nappies were originally made by Lottie, in Hinckley, Leicestershire. They have always had high popularity due to their excelent fit, funky looks, and versitality - they were the first shaped nappy to have a 'pocket' for putting the booster in, hence the name 'Stuffie' and are a registered design.
Stuffie nappies have long been a bestseller on Angel Tots, with demand often outstripping production! In January 2009 I bought the licence to make Stuffie nappies from Lottie, along with her industrial overlocker, snap press and a lot of fabric! I'm now ready to offer custom made Stuffies to you, at the same high standard recently bought to you by Lottie - I have several years sewing experience, a creative flair and lots of enthusiasm! Each nappy is made with care, using the best quality fabrics possible. I use premium quality loop terry, either bought white and dyed with Dylon dies (hot pink and orange) or bought coloured (blue). The hemp fleece for soakers and boosters is 55%hemp and 45% organic cotton and I use good quality fleece to line the nappies.
Stuffie nappies are still made in Leicestershire in the UK, made to the same design, in the same way, even on the same machine that they always have been. I do like to experiment with different fabrics though, so keep an eye out for special editions in the future!
